Pastor Glen & his wife Jerilyn have returned to Colorado Springs, Colorado where Glen has accepted the position of Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel North. There Glen will continue to serve with his passion for God's Word and for His people... 1Thes 2:8 "Affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us."
WORSHIP PASTOR: NATE MROTZEK & HIS WIFE JENNate and his wife Jen have faithfully attended Calvary Chapel Eureka for many years and have served the Lord diligently and passionately here during that time. Nate leads our Worship Ministry with a vibrant contemporary style that is wonderfully tempered with a quite humility that easily allows the congregation to focus their praise on the Lord and not the band on stage.
Paul challenges Archippas in Colossians 4:17 to, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord that you may fulfill it." As we worship the Lord through music and song, it is of the upmost importance that only God receive glory, thanks, and praise, and that the congregation be fully engaged with their hearts focused on remembering and proclaiming His goodness and faithfulness. When this ministry is fulfilled, it isn't just music that gets produced, but as the heart of each musician is submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the congregation is worshiping the Lord in Spirit and Truth, the heavenly Father is exalted to the highest place. The Worship ministry at Calvary Chapel Eureka is blessed with servant-hearted, mature Christians, that prayerfully approach each opportunity to use their gifts for His fame and glory, with precisely this goal in mind.
