It is a great comfort to know and observe the support and prayers of the body of Christ in what has been a changing and growing response to the pandemic facing the world. As it reaches the redwood curtain, we can be confident continuing in faith, in the unshakable peace and hope that lies within us.
The bible says: “for this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men- as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.” 1Peter 2:15-17
We will do this now by respecting the guidelines set by our officials: we can honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God and honor the king.
This is a call to action as the body of Christ to seek His leading to express His great love, and be lights in the world that so desperately needs it right now.
Prayer should be our priority, Peace should be our proclamation, and fear should be toward God.
