We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Calvary Chapel Eureka. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

we encourage a friendly relaxed gathering, that the church would be free to greet one another and build relationships centered around God’s grace and His living word active in our lives. As we begin in praise and worship, there is freedom to lift our voices and express Gods goodness and faithfulness. As we spend time together opening Gods word in the congregation, we pray God has opportunity to speak to the body corporately and each one personally without distraction.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you’re welcome at Calvary Chapel Eureka and we’re excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have children ministry available for infants and children during the Sunday 10:30 service. Children will receive teaching and encouragement from a group of caring leaders with a focus on Gods word during this time. Families of all ages and sizes are also welcome to remain in the service together, and a nursing mothers room is available if desired. During the week there are opportunities for young adults and jr/highschool youth to gather and find fellowship.

Sermon

Regular teaching is in an inductive expositional style that continues chapter by chapter and verse by verse through the bible. Currently we are studying through the new testament on Sunday mornings and the old testament on Wednesday evenings. You are encouraged to bring your bible. Our hope is that you will be growing in receiving and engaging with God in His word outside of services by the time we spend together in it.

Here at Calvary Chapel Eureka, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together in fellowship as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God’s Word.
